DeWitt County 4-H DeWitt County 4-H is for youth and volunteers who want to Make the Best Better in DeWitt County, Illinois.

Looking for a 4-H Shooting Sports Club in DeWitt County? Archery is kicking off tomorrow, and there's more to follow:

Archery will meet from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, at the DeWitt County Fairgrounds and will meet weekly through October and November and pick up again in January. Ages 8 to 18.

🎯 Aim High with the Clinton 4-H .22 R***e Club!

Are you interested in marksmanship, safety, and having fun outdoors? Whether you're a seasoned shooter or brand new to the sport, the Clinton 4-H .22 R***e Club invites youth to join us for our upcoming meeting!

Come learn foundational shooting sports skills, safety practices, and precision marksmanship in a supportive, safety-first environment.

Eligibility: Youth must be age 10 or older by September 1, 2026.

When: Sunday, September 20, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Where: American Heritage Range (3991 Gabby Rd, Waynesville)

Let's harvest some vegetables and explore 4-H project options in Horticulture and Food Preservation! Kids will help harvest summer vegetable crops, plant garlic, and take a short hay rack ride through camp.

September 27 | 1:30-3:30 p.m. | 4-H Memorial Camp

Open to ages 8 and up.

There is a $10 registration fee, and the deadline to register is September 23.

4-H clubs show your community spirit by doing a service project during National 4-H week and send up to 3 pictures with descriptions of the project! Don't forget to wear your 4-H green! We'll post photos on October 13 of the completed projects.

Submit pictures by Oct. 12 to go.illinois.edu/4HHeart.

Join us on October 16 for the 2nd Annual Livestock Judging Contest! Youth ages 8-18, including 4-H and FFA members, are invited to showcase their judging abilities with cattle, swine, sheep, and goats.

October 16 | 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Martinsville Fairgrounds
$20 per school or coach
Open to youth ages 8-18

Junior Division & Senior Division
Max of 4 per team, top 3 scores count
Stenopads are allowed

We are using Scantrons this year, so please bring clipboards and pencils.

Lunch will not be available at the event, so please plan accordingly.
