We resumed our regular meetings in September and have had so much happen already! 🦁
In our first meeting we voted on organizations to support for Mohawk Valley Gives Day on 9/18. We were so happy to be able to donate to two groups near and dear to our hearts and mission, The Country Pantry and Sleep in Heavenly Peace - NY, Utica! 🛌
The next week, we were back in action at The Country Pantry for the September food distribution. They're doing incredible work at TCP, this month helping feed 595 local families! 🍇
During that same week, we joined fellow Lions from Sauquoit Valley, New Hartford/New York Mills/Whitestown, Utica and Greater Herkimer to greet District Governor (DG) Ed for his annual visitation. DG Ed was accompanied by PDG Ed Pike, Northern NY Lions, District 20W Global Membership/Extension Team & District Leo Club and Eyeglass Recycling Chairman. 🤓
Our club had some big moments as our newest member - Scott Leuthauser - was inducted, and we had two of our members recognized for their years of committed service! A proud day for the Clinton Lions indeed! 💛
We're always looking for more members of the community to get involved - if you are interested in learning more please reach out to us here, via email, or come to one of our bi-weekly meetings for a no-pressure space to learn more!
