Our Club members have provided thousands of service hours for various area projects and we have exciting plans for this year and the future. Just a few years ago, in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the founding of our Club, The Rotary Club of Clinton undertook and completed the beautiful Million-Dollar Plus renovation of the Lodge at Eagle Point Park. We have also been very active in our local s
chools, bringing dictionaries to all area Third Grade students, presenting Josh The Otter water safety books to all area kindergarten students, providing winter coats and boots to young students in need, granting scholarships to graduating seniors from all our area schools, and sponsoring and supporting the Rotary Interact Club at Clinton High School. Throughout the year you can see our members ringing bells for the Salvation Army, planting trees in the community, providing area park upgrades, and supporting many other needs within our community. We continue to support Rotary International’s Project of World Polio Eradication and the other efforts to improve healthcare, support education, provide clean water and promote peace around the World. The motto of Rotary International is “Service Above Self” and that is truly what being a Rotarian is all about. And while we are serving others, we are having fun. Another very important part of Rotary is fellowship. We enjoy our weekly time together and also joining together for good times at Lumberkings games, the Showboat Theater, our Christmas Holiday Luncheon and this years Boo Bash Halloween Party. Please be our guest and join us for lunch any Monday, at the Tuscany Event Center, behind Rastrelli's Restaurant on Main Avenue. We would love to share with you more about Rotary, what it means to become a Rotarian, and how you can be a Rotarian, too.
