Attention Parents!!! The After School Dance and Movie originally scheduled for Jan. 23rd will take place this Friday, February 6 from 2:15 - 6:00pm

Please see the flyer - if you have already paid for the dance, your child/ren will need to resubmit a permission slip. Also, if there are any parents available to volunteer, the following time slots are requested:
1:30-3:30

5:30-7:30

Tis the season to GIVE!!!! The Clinton Grove ES PTA held a Warm Winter Drive during November and part of December. Through generous donations, the PTA collected winter items which will benefit children of incarcerated parents. The items were delivered to Mt. Enon Baptist Church Prison Ministry, who will in turn, distribute the items on behalf of the parents.

We would like to thank you all for helping make this service to the community a great success!

To Our Dearest PTA..... WE WON!!!

Two of the three teams that you all sponsored came in FIRST place in the regional competition. The kids are SO PROUD of themselves!! Thank you so much for sponsoring us. I know it was not an easy amount of money for the board to come up with, and I thank you for making the extra effort for our teams!! They are thrilled! I love how excited they are with their medals. Thank you again! :)

Dear Parents of Students at Clinton Grove Elementary:

Clinton Grove has three Destination Imagination (DI) teams that are made up of six or seven members each. DI is a nationwide program that challenges students on numerous levels to work as creative, enterprising, artistic, and scientific teams. DI teams compete in a regional tournament in March of each year.

The PTA has sponsored one team; however, we need your support to sponsor the other two teams ($100 total). They have deadline to remit payment to the Destination Imagination Office by January 15th. We are casting a wide net to reach parents in asking to send a donation of any amount to the attention of Ms. Karen Dresser, DI Coordinator for CGES by Monday, January 13. Please see the posted letter for more information or contact us by email.

We appreciate your consideration and continued support for our children at Clinton Grove Elementary!

This is a reminder of our monthly PTA meeting scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 6:30pm in the Media Center. We will have sign up sheets available for our committees and events. As well as an opportunity for you to bring any questions and concerns to the table.
