Great discussion at today’s Thrive Laurens County meeting! 💚 We spent time exploring healthy eating initiatives across our community. Including food pantries, community gardens, and mobile fruit and vegetable pantries. The conversation focused on the “who, what, when, and why” of each initiative, along with how long implementation could take and which options may work best in different areas of Laurens County. Excited to continue building solutions that increase access to healthy foods for all. 🌱

What an incredible week at the National VOAD Conference! 💙 It was inspiring to connect with United Way teams and community partners from across the country, all working toward the shared mission of supporting communities through disaster response and recovery. From meaningful conversations and valuable training sessions to new friendships and collaborations, this week was filled with learning, encouragement, and connection! Grateful for the opportunity to represent Laurens County SC and bring back new ideas to better serve our community.
