Since we began our work in the village of El Naranjal, we have built one home for an impoverished family and will begin another shortly. We have built many bathrooms for the local residents and have completed numerous home repairs. We are currently building a clinic in the village to serve all of that area as well as the surrounding villages. Meibellin's Medicine Chest was a program launched in Ap

ril of 2010 following the death of two year old Meibellin who perished from dehydration caused by common diarrhea. We collected over the counter medications to give to the people in an effort to prevent similar situations from happening in the future. The "pharmacy" was an instant success and required large quanties of medicine to keep it supplied. In April of 2011, we sent a shipping container with boxes of medicine, medical supplies, and medical equipment. We are currently building a clinic to house the equipment and meidicines as well as to provide a workplace for the new nurse, Annabel, and our new nursing assistant, Miling. We have also launched a new program designed to feed the elderly residents of the village. Many of the seniors do not have family to take care of them and without any support, many suffer from malnourishment and other associated illnesses. We are providing blood pressure medication and insulin to all who need thse life saving medications and hope that we can continue to do so in the future. We were officially incorporated in February of 2010 and have have a Board of Directors to oversee the programs and policies of the organization. Covington, President -- Rhonda B.
