Neighbors in Need, Punks in Deed, and damn, you showed up!

Every can, every song, every person who came through made this night what it was.
Together we filled tables, raised spirits, and proved what community looks like!

Huge thanks to everyone who played, donated, screamed, moshed, and cared.

The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries (SSKP) is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven network that provides food and fellowship to residents along the Connecticut shoreline who are experiencing food insecurity. Founded in 1989, SSKP serves eleven towns from Old Lyme to East Haven, offering both weekly food pantries and hot meal programs hosted by local faith communities.

SSKP operates on a simple mission: to provide food and fellowship to those in need while educating the community about hunger and poverty. The organization emphasizes dignity, respect, and accessibility—no income verification or residency requirements are needed. Anyone in need can receive help.

Each week, hundreds of volunteers distribute thousands of pounds of groceries and prepare nutritious meals across their network of partner churches. The pantries are stocked with a mix of non-perishables, fresh produce, dairy, meat, and bakery items, ensuring families have access to balanced and sustaining food.

Come out to Scottish Dave’s Pub on November 8 to the Neighbors in Need, Punks in Deed show for a night of live music and community spirit. Bring a non-perishable food donation and help support The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries in feeding local families.
