Members received this information through 4-H Online last week on Wednesday. However, due to a death in her family, Ms. Kayla has been out of the office and wanted to make sure this information was also shared on our social media platforms so everyone has access to this important update.

Dear East Feliciana 4-H Families, Volunteers, School Partners, and Community Stakeholders,
After much thought and consideration, I want to share that I will be leaving my position as Assistant 4-H Agent with the LSU AgCenter. My last day serving East Feliciana Parish will be August 5, 2026.
Over the past four years, it has been an honor and privilege to work with the young people, families, volunteers, educators, and community partners who make this parish so special. Together, we have celebrated accomplishments, overcome challenges, expanded opportunities, revived traditions, and created experiences that have made a positive impact on the lives of countless youth.
To our 4-H members, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Watching you learn, grow, lead, and achieve your goals has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Your enthusiasm, resilience, and dedication have inspired me every day.
To our parents and families, thank you for your trust, encouragement, and support of the 4-H program. Your commitment to your children and our programs has played an essential role in their success.
To our volunteers, school administrators, teachers, community partners, sponsors, Foundation,
and stakeholders, thank you for the countless hours, resources, and encouragement you have invested in our youth. Your dedication has strengthened our programs and created meaningful opportunities for young people throughout East Feliciana Parish.
The relationships, friendships, and memories I have made through East Feliciana 4-H will always hold a special place in my heart. The support, kindness, and dedication I have experienced from this community have left a lasting impact on both my life and my family.
Thank you for allowing me to serve the youth and families of East Feliciana Parish. I am incredibly proud of all that we have accomplished together and look forward to seeing East Feliciana 4-H continue to thrive in the years ahead.
