Denise and I have felt truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to lead Reaching Teen Moms these past 14 years.
There has been a lot of laughter, tears, hugs, and prayers shared. The moms we have met have each touched our lives in such a personal way that we will always carry a part of RTM with us wherever we go. We have shared life with some truly amazing moms. We have watched many of these young moms fight against a lot of barriers and achieve goals that others would have said couldn’t be done. To say we are proud of these young ladies and their precious children would be an understatement! They chose life for their child and fought their way through the much tougher road to give their little ones a chance to thrive.
This year has been a very unique one with a lot of changes and several issues that have been out of our control. For this reason, we feel lead to take a sabbatical and RTM will not be meeting this coming year. The support and encouragement from Parkway Baptist Church and the community have been instrumental to this ministry. We are both humbled and honored for your trust in us and allowing us to do what we love.
To all the young moms who have blessed us and allowed us to be a small part of their lives, know we are still here. If you need us or just want to talk, we are only a text away.
