CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local congregations to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world. Of the money that is raised one quarter of the funds remain here in Clinton to support our local food pantries, which include: Information and Referral & Assistance Services, Elvira Food Bank, and the Camanche Food Bank. The r

emainder of the funds are given to Church World Service and other stellar hunger-fighting organizations, for use around the world, to help those struggling with hunger and poverty.

It is not too late to get packets for the 2016 CROP Hunger Walk. They are available at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Clinton, Monday-Thursday from 9-4. Also, please check out the online CROP page to register and receive donations from friends.

Clinton CROP Hunger Walk 2016 packet pickup begins on Monday. 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton. Stop by and grab a packet and get some of your questions answered.

Today is CROP Hunger Walk in Clinton. We will be walking from Ashford University and enjoying a nice day in Clinton. If you are coming to walk, please bring a water bottle if you have one. There will be water stops along the routes and we want to minimize the amount of paper cups used. Scroll down to find links to the 3 different routes that can be walked. Using your device to view the map will cut down on the paper used to print maps. We'll see you this afternoon.
