The Orphans Hands

The Orphans Hands We rescue orphans from human trafficking, enabling them to become missionaries & reach those in need. You are not a mistake. Their hands bring miracles.

It all began when Philip walked into a foul smelling room in a bitterly cold orphanage and saw a little boy covered in his own waste, starving, and alone. Philip picked him up and made a promise that has echoed down through time for the last quarter century: “I will come back. If you are born, God has a plan.”

Since that wintery day in 1990, a continuing miracle of love and redemption has taken p

lace. Orphans, rescued, became sons and daughters. Those sons and daughters became missionaries. Today they look in the eyes of orphans in orphanages and tell them with love, “We will be back. If you are born, God has a plan.”

Those you will meet today have stories that could be made into a movie. Stories of loss, abandonment, abuse, starvation and deprivation, but the watering of love and the promises of God have made them spring up as trees in a desert land. The Orphans Hands.

Have you ever wondered if your breakthrough is closer than you think? Pastor Abby Trivett joins Daily Faith to share the powerful message behind her new book, The Power of Suddenly. Drawing from some of Scripture’s most dramatic moments, Abby reveals how God often works behind the scenes during seasons of waiting—only to move suddenly in ways that change everything. From Hannah’s answered prayer to Lazarus walking out of the tomb, the Bible is filled with reminders that God is still the God of the impossible.

In The Power of Suddenly, Abby explores the biblical foundations of miracles, healing, deliverance, restoration, and resurrection power. She encourages believers not to lose heart when prayers seem delayed, reminding us that God is never absent—He is strategic. Through faith-filled teaching and practical biblical insight, she shows how God’s promises, the power of His Word, and the work of the Holy Spirit can bring breakthrough when we least expect it.

Join us on Daily Faith as Pastor Abby Trivett shares why miracles are not reserved for a select few and how God still changes lives today. If you’re waiting for healing, restoration, provision, or a fresh move of God, this conversation will strengthen your faith and remind you that your “suddenly” may be closer than you think. Human trafficking is often portrayed as a problem happening somewhere else, to someone else.

But recent global operations tell a different story.

This year, an international anti-trafficking effort involving 119 countries identified more than 4,400 potential trafficking victims and led to thousands of arrests worldwide. Behind every number is a person—a child, a young adult, a family member—whose vulnerability was exploited for someone else's profit.

The reality is that traffickers look for vulnerability.

They look for children without protection.
They look for families in crisis.
They look for poverty, instability, displacement, and hopelessness.

That's why the mission of Orphan's Hands matters.

Every child who has a safe place to sleep, access to education, loving caregivers, and a community that values them is less vulnerable to exploitation. Every family strengthened and every child given hope through Christ represents a barrier against those who would seek to take advantage of their circumstances.

The fight against trafficking doesn't begin with a rescue operation.

It begins when vulnerable children are protected before they ever become targets.

Thank you for helping us invest in prevention, protection, and hope for children around the world.

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves." — Proverbs 31:8

A recent UNICEF report revealed that the recruitment of children by armed groups in Colombia has quadrupled over the last five years. Experts point to a familiar pattern: children living in vulnerable situations—without adequate protection, opportunity, or support—are often the easiest targets for those who seek to exploit them.

This is a sobering reminder that vulnerable children around the world face dangers many of us can hardly imagine.

At Orphan's Hands, we believe protecting children begins long before a crisis occurs.

When a child has a safe place to live, access to education, caring adults who invest in their future, and the hope that comes through Christ, they are far less vulnerable to exploitation. When families are strengthened and communities are empowered, children are better protected from those who would take advantage of their circumstances.

The recent headlines are a reminder that the world's most vulnerable children need more than rescue—they need prevention, protection, and opportunity.

Every child deserves to be known. Every child deserves to be safe. Every child deserves hope.

Thank you for helping us build that future, one child at a time.

Recent headlines have reported major human trafficking arrests and the recovery of vulnerable children who were at risk of exploitation. While we are thankful for every child rescued, these stories serve as a reminder that the fight against trafficking begins long before a rescue operation.

Traffickers look for vulnerability. They target children who are hungry, alone, neglected, displaced, or without the protection of a loving family.

That's why the mission of Orphan's Hands is so important.

Every child we help feed, educate, shelter, and disciple is a child who is less vulnerable to those who would seek to exploit them. Every family strengthened, every life touched by the love of Christ, and every opportunity created for a child is part of building a future where trafficking has fewer victims.

The church cannot solve every problem in the world, but we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to children who need protection, hope, and a chance to thrive.

As we pray for those rescued from trafficking and for justice to prevail, let us also remember the power of prevention. When we invest in vulnerable children today, we help protect them from unimaginable dangers tomorrow.

"Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." — Psalm 82:3

Nearly 340,000 red dots.

Each one represents a unique IP address in the United States that was identified accessing or sharing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) during a recent 180-day period.

Law enforcement calls it "The Red Dot Map."

What appears to be a map of dots is actually a sobering reminder that child exploitation is not a distant problem—it is happening in communities across our nation.

Behind every image is a child. Behind many of these cases is a child who has been trafficked, groomed, exploited, or abused.

At Orphan's Hands, we know that vulnerability creates opportunity for traffickers. Children living in poverty, without stable families, protection, education, or support systems are often targeted because they are easier to exploit.

This is why prevention matters.

Every child we help keep in school. Every family we strengthen. Every safe home we support. Every vulnerable child we protect is one less child at risk of becoming a victim.

The fight against child exploitation doesn't begin when a child is rescued—it begins long before, by addressing the conditions that place children in danger in the first place.

Today, as you look at these red dots, remember: they are not just statistics. They represent real children who deserve safety, dignity, and a future free from exploitation.

Together, we can help prevent trafficking before it starts.

Please Pray for Moldova🙏❤️🇲🇩

Many of the communities we serve and love in Moldova are facing the effects of severe flooding after days of heavy rainfall. Homes have been damaged, roads washed out, and families are facing unexpected challenges as they begin the difficult work of recovery.

Today, we ask the Orphan's Hands family to join us in lifting Moldova before the Lord. Our team is assessing the hardest hit areas and making a plan to reach those in need.

Heavenly Father,

We pray for every family affected by these floods. Protect those who are vulnerable, bring comfort to those who have suffered loss, and provide strength for those facing uncertainty.

We especially lift up the children, families, pastors, churches, and ministry partners who faithfully serve throughout Moldova. Give them wisdom, endurance, and the resources they need to care for their communities during this difficult time.

We pray for safety for emergency responders and volunteers, for floodwaters to recede, and for restoration to begin quickly. May those who are hurting experience Your peace, Your provision, and Your presence in a powerful way.

Lord, use Your people to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Let hope rise where there is fear, and let communities be strengthened through acts of compassion and love.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1

Please take a moment today to pray for Moldova. Your prayers make a difference.

Today is Children's Day in Moldova.

For most children, it's a day filled with laughter, celebration, flowers, proud parents, and dreams about the future. Families gather to celebrate the completion of 9th grade—a milestone marking achievement and new opportunities.

But for an orphan, Children's Day means something entirely different.

The young woman who created this video, Ulizana, knows that reality firsthand.

Ulizana spent the first 10 years of her life in a tuberculosis hospital because it was the only place willing to care for abandoned newborn babies. At age 10, she learned she had a mother and three sisters. Yet on that same day, she was transferred to a state orphanage of more than 700 children.

Like thousands of orphaned children across Eastern Europe, she learned early what it meant to survive alone.

Every year on Children's Day, orphaned teenagers receive their 9th-grade diploma, a bus ticket to the address listed on their birth certificate, and the equivalent of about $30.

Then they are sent away.

No family.

No support.

No plan.

Just a bus ticket and a goodbye.

This is the moment traffickers wait for.

At bus stations across Moldova, vulnerable young people arrive with nowhere to go and no one waiting for them. They have been warned about traffickers. They know the danger. But when you're hungry, scared, alone, and uncertain where you'll sleep that night, promises of work, housing, or a better life can feel like your only option.

Awareness alone cannot stop trafficking.

A safe bed can.

A family can.

A place of refuge can.

This is where Orphan's Hands steps in.

We are the safety corridor between the orphanage and the back seat of a trafficker's car.

We provide what these young people need most: a home, a Christian family environment, education, discipleship, protection, and a future worth believing in.

Throughout this summer, our teams will serve across Moldova through children's camps, village outreaches, and ministry to struggling families. Along the way, we will meet this year's graduates—the young people standing at the edge of adulthood with nowhere to turn.

Our prayer is simple: that every bed at Vatra Village becomes a place of rescue and hope.

In recent years, between 23 and 28 young people have entered our program each August. We are preparing now to receive this next group, believing God will allow us to impact as many lives as possible.

But we cannot do it without you.

Everything you have seen Orphan's Hands accomplish has happened because someone chose to say:

"Yes, I will help."

"Yes, I will give."

"Yes, I will stand in the gap for a child who has no one."

This summer, would you consider becoming a monthly partner?

A monthly gift doesn't just fund a program—it provides a bed, a meal, an education, a family, protection from exploitation, and the opportunity for a young person to discover God's purpose for their life.

When an orphan steps off that bus, they should not have to face the world alone.

Your generosity can ensure that someone is waiting for them.

Today, on Children's Day, help us turn a bus ticket into a future.

Help us rescue. Help us protect. Help us restore.

Give today. Change a life forever.
