Forever in Our Hearts. Never Forgotten
Today, we remember September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation. We remember the innocent lives lost, the families whose lives were forever altered, and the first responders, firefighters, police officers, military members, and ordinary Americans who displayed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
On one of America’s darkest days, we also witnessed something remarkable: the strength of the American spirit. Strangers became neighbors. Communities became families. People ran toward danger to help others. Churches filled with prayer, flags flew from homes and businesses, and Americans stood together with a renewed understanding that what unites us is far greater than what divides us.
That strength is still worth remembering.
Scripture reminds us:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
And in every uncertain season, we are called again to prayer:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray… then will I hear from heaven.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
Our hope has never rested only in our own ability. Our faith is in God. We pray for the families who still carry the memories of that day. We pray for our first responders and military members who continue to serve. We pray for our leaders, our communities, and for peace across our nation.
May America never lose the courage to stand, the compassion to serve, the faith to pray, or the strength to come together.
We remember the fallen.
We honor the heroes.
We pray for our nation.
And we will never forget.
