It's beautiful and messy.
It's all of it at once.

Isn’t it incredible what our farmers are doing?

They’re doing more with less—less land, fewer farmers, tighter margins, and often less understanding from those outside agriculture.

And yet, they show up with more.

More technology. More innovation. More hours. More resilience. More determination to produce more food for a growing world.

We all need farmers.

Just think about that.

“I battle with that. What if I’m the one that loses it [the farm], but at the same time, I don’t want to put that kind of pressure on my children. [Farming] is hard. Do I want to sign my kids up for that?”

There’s a lot that keeps farmers up at night, and it’s not just weather and input costs. It’s also the weight of continuing the farm and what they pass on to their kids.

Just because farmers don’t talk about the hard or weighty things they’re carrying doesn’t mean those things aren’t on their minds.

Financial pressures. Family responsibilities. Long hours. Uncertainty. The pressure to keep going, even when things feel overwhelming.

Farmers carry a lot of stress and weight on any given day, and not all of it is visible. Research has found that su***de rates among farmers can be significantly higher than the national average.

So check on your farmers.
Ask how they’re really doing.
Encourage them.
Listen to them.
Appreciate them.

Sometimes, simply knowing someone cares can make a difference.
