Today we wrapped up our Clinton City Schools summer camp partnership! Students explored entrepreneurship initiatives, worked in multiple job roles, voted, participated as consumers, and most importantly, had fun while learning real-world skills along the way. We loved getting to spend the week investing in these students and helping them build confidence for their futures!

Last Friday, we had the opportunity to attend Career Quest: All About Business at Northeast State Community College! Students explored what it takes to succeed in today’s business world and we got to discuss why soft skills matter now more than ever. In a world driven by technology, the skills that make you who you are, communication, confidence, leadership, and adaptability, are incredibly important.
Students learned the value of knowing your professional story and what it takes to be able to confidently share it. Understanding who you are, what you bring to the table, and how to communicate that is a powerful step toward professional growth. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a great experience for students!

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since our first-ever JA BizTown Pop-Up experience launched right here in the Tri-Cities at Tennessee Middle School!

From setup day, when a school was transformed into a bustling mini city, to opening day when 6th graders became CEOs, bankers, engineers, and community leaders, this week was nothing short of inspiring. Students managed businesses, balanced budgets, solved real-world problems, worked as teams, and discovered career paths they didn’t even know existed.

We celebrated a milestone ribbon cutting and saw financial literacy, leadership, teamwork, and big dreams come to life. Most importantly, students explored how a community thrives, and how they can play a role in our local economy.

This pop-up experience, made possible through the WorkForce Invest Grant and incredible community support, brought hands-on, career-connected learning directly to students and expanded access to opportunity-filled futures right here at home.

We’re so proud of these future ready learners and grateful to everyone who helped make this historic week possible!
