Update as of 06:05am: Upper Bellsqueeze Rd is still shut down in the area of the 600 block and Spring Street just after Lamb Ave is still closed down, as we are waiting for CMP to be able to get to them. We know that this is an inconvenience, but please be patient with us and CMP. We are hoping the roads will be back open at some point today! We will post an update once the roads are back open

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Please use caution as we have had multiple trees and wires come down around town from the storm that just came through. We currently have a portion of Spring St shut down due to wires down in the roadway and the 600 block of Bellsqueeze Rd is shut down due to trees and wires down. Please avoid these areas if possible as the roads will be shut down until CMP is able to come assist us. We thank you for your patience.
If you need to report any trees or wires down in the roadway, please call 911 or Waterville Communications Center as all of our crews are currently out of the station. As always, no wires are safe to touch! ⚠️⚠️⚠️

To all of our Clinton residents, we are closely monitoring a potential for severe weather that could impact our immediate area this evening. These storms may bring high winds, heavy rain, severe thunderstorms with frequent lightning, hail, and potentially isolated tornadoes. Please stay indoors during these storms and have flashlights ready in the case of power outages. For all emergencies, including downed trees and power lines, please call 911 or Waterville Communications Center and not the station directly as we may be out of the station on other emergency calls. Remember that no power line is ever safe to touch, so if you encounter any downed power lines, call 911. Should a tornado watch or warning be issued, please take these warnings seriously and get to a safe location promptly. Pay attention to the skies and keep yourself safe. As always, we’re here if you need us!

It has been a busy day for the crews. Started off with an EMS call that was transported to Augusta. Then a propane leak in Burnham and another Medical call. The duty crew got a few hours of a break and was dispatched to I 95 South for an RV fire, Fairfield Benton Emergency Services and Clinton Maine Police Department was also dispatched. Crews from both department worked together to suppress the fire. After clearing the I crews where dispatched to Trade Winds for a person possibly dragged by a vehicle. Due to all units being out all responded along with Burnham Fire while covering our station. On arrival crews found a patient pinned under the vehicle with the tire on his knee. Crews thought outside the box to safely remove the vehicle off the patient and was treated and transported by our amazing EMS providers. Crews often have to think outside the box to achieve out goals. We want to thank all of our member involved in all the calls today, Clinton Police Department, and out mutual aid partners for the assistance.

Today we got our Cascade System moved to the new station. This system allows us to fill our SCBA bottles we use inside a fire. We would like to thank Fire Tech and Safety for coming in to disconnect the system and reconnect it in the new station and also Brock Dostie for sending Thomas over to load it on the flat bed.
