Thanks be to God for another incredible Naucratius Hog Camp at the Brady Property in Louisiana! Gunnison had a blast guarding camp and eating crawfish for the first time. We harvested 6 pigs total this year (I killed two healthy sows). They weren’t moving as much and our trapper didn’t have activity in his area either but we still yielded around 380lbs of meat to share with our families and those in need. It was nourishing to be on the land and reunited with old friends and making new ones. The relationships made in the woods and around the campfire are what makes us keep coming back to this sacred place. Can’t wait to get back next year!!

The Oklahoma crew had a blast at the annual Hog Camp in Louisiana! We harvested 46 pigs total, butchered and processed them all and distributed the meat to all participants to feed their families and communities. We give thanks to God for a successful harvest and wonderful felllowship with our friends from all over the country. Folks came from MN, NC, AL, OH, OK, MO, MI, CA, LA, IN, and VA. Thank you to the Brady Family and The Goose is Loose for their incredible hospitality and generosity for the use of their land and resources. It was such a gift to be together in Gods great Creation.
