Behind every successful band program is an army of dedicated parents and volunteers. 👈🏼

No one person can do it all—and they shouldn’t have to.
When each family contributes a little time, effort, or support, amazing things happen for our students.

Together, we can provide the experiences our band kids will remember for a lifetime. 🎶❤️

Let’s create….AWARENESS.

*Many parents don’t realize how much work happens behind the scenes to support a band program. Seeing the numbers helps people understand the scale of the effort.

RECRUITMENT OF VOLUNTEERS

*When parents see the list broken down, they may realize there are many ways to help, not just one huge commitment. Some can donate water, others can help feed students, and others can volunteer at competitions or do multiple items for the band kids.

ENCOURAGING SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

*The point of the “300 parents working together” message is that no single family should carry the burden.
A large group can accomplish a lot when everyone contributes a little.

APPRECIATION FOR CURRENT VOLUNTEERS

*It highlights the work already being done and recognizes those parents who are helping behind the scenes.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

*It reminds families that band is more than the students performing on the field.
It takes parents, directors, boosters, and volunteers working together to create opportunities for the kids.

Dear Band Families,

Friendly reminder!

It is time to sign up for baseball/softball concessions!

Each family is asked to sign up for two shifts, with both a parent and student working together. Please enter your name and phone number into the spreadsheet when selecting your shifts.

This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and your support is essential to the success of our program.

As an added incentive, there will be a cash drawing at the end of band camp for all students who complete both required shifts. Additionally, all hours worked may be recorded for volunteer/service hours.

Annual Band Banquet/Potluck is coming up on Wednesday 5/20/2026.
It will begin at 5:30pm at the Clinton Middle School Commons area.

NOTE: This is a potluck style event - so please bring a main dish and a side OR dessert to share. Also, bring your own tableware settings (plates/forks/spoons/knives) and a drink of your own.

It was a magical night at the last band concert of the season.
Every song was played so well, and all the students should feel so proud of what they have accomplished this year. Music truly is good for the soul. 🎶🎼🎵

The CHS Band Spring Concert is at 7:00 pm tonight in the Durgin Performing Arts Center. Call time for students is 6:00 pm.
The doors to the theater will open at 6:15

The preconcert solo and ensemble performances will start on the stage at 6:30. The main concert will start at 7:00.

Admission for the concert is $5 for adults and $2 for students and is cashless.

You may park in the back and enter through door C19 or in the north lot and enter through the hall of fame entrance.

Unfortunately the large bathrooms in the back of the theater are closed due to the construction. The only bathrooms near the theater are the small ones behind the stage.
