What We Are:
The Alread Community Center Development Association (ACCDA) is a group of enthusiastic volunteers who come together to take care of the Alread Community Center and Fun Park. Our board of directors is made up of local residents who are passionate about making our community a better place. We believe that a strong, thriving community relies on the dedication of its members, and we’re proud to be part of that effort. Our Mission:
At ACCDA, our mission is simple: to create a welcoming space where everyone in Alread can come together, have fun, and feel connected. We want the community center and park to be places where families can gather, children can play, and friendships can grow. With the help of our amazing volunteers, we strive to keep our community vibrant and engaged. We encourage everyone in Alread to join us—whether you're looking to lend a hand with maintenance, help organize events, or simply share your ideas for improving our facilities. Together, we can make a difference! We believe that when community members pitch in, everyone benefits, and we all feel more connected. What We Do:
ACCDA is involved in a range of activities that keep our community center and Fun Park looking great and running smoothly. Here’s a glimpse of what we do:

- Maintaining Our Spaces: Our volunteers regularly clean, repair, and improve the community center and park to ensure they are safe and enjoyable for everyone.

- Hosting Fun Events: A yearly poker run, 4th of July Fireworks, Alumni dinners and we organize events that bring people together for fun and connection.

- Fundraising Efforts: We hold fundraisers to gather resources for upgrades and new projects, so we can continue to enhance the facilities everyone loves.

- Welcoming New Volunteers: We’re always on the lookout for new faces to join our team. We provide training and support to make sure everyone feels comfortable jumping in and helping out. The ACCDA is more than just a board; it’s a community of friends working together for a common goal. Whether you have a little time or a lot to give, we’d love your help. Let’s work together to keep the Alread Community Center and Fun Park a lively and welcoming space for all! In the end, the ACCDA is about fostering a strong sense of community and supporting one another. Together, we can make Alread a better place to live, work, and play—one volunteer at a time!

🇺🇸 A Truly Incredible Gift for America's 250th Anniversary! 🦅
In celebration of our nation's 250 Years of Freedom, we have been blessed with an extraordinary gift—a breathtaking, life-size chainsaw-carved Bald Eagle that will be auctioned, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Alread Community Fireworks.
Crafted from cedar and pine generously donated by Mitchell Rackley, this one-of-a-kind masterpiece was created using chainsaws, Dremel tools, grinders, sanders, gouges, and carving knives.
After approximately 100 hours of carving, shaping, sanding, and painting, the finished eagle stands as a true work of art:
🦅 60-inch wingspan
📏 52 inches total height
🇺🇸 18-inch eagle height
This incredible carving reflects the talent, dedication, and generosity of our community.
A very special THANK YOU to Chris & Mary Hoyt for donating this beautiful work of art to help support the Alread Community Fireworks. Your generosity will help make Fire on the Mountain 2026 an unforgettable celebration of America's 250th Anniversary!
Stay tuned for auction details—you won't want to miss the opportunity to own this amazing piece while supporting a great cause!

A huge thank you to Jennifer Layton, owner of the Cleveland Corner Store, for her kindness and generosity! After the storage building at the Alread School was broken into and all of our tables and pop up canopies were stolen,
Jennifer reached out and offered to replace all 8 tables for our community events.
We had never even met Jennifer before. She shared that she moved here four years ago and that the Alread Fireworks Show has become an annual tradition for her family. She simply wanted to help our community, and that is exactly what she dia.
Jennifer, you are truly a blessing, and we are so thankful for your support and generosity!
Be sure to check out the Cleveland Corner Store the next time you're out for a nice drive and want a good lunch. And go give their page a like so you can keep up with what's cooking!
