What a fun start to the weekend DCFB had last week! We spent the day over at CES for the 5th grade Stewardship Day! We had a blast teaching the students about corn, byproducts, and creating Oobleck! We then ended our evening out at Mariah's Mums & More for our Harvest Movie Night! We could not have asked for a more picture perfect fall evening! Huge shoutout to Greg and Mariah Anderson for hosting our event and opening your farm up to us for the evening! The kids had an absolute blast between painting pumpkins, playing in the kid play area, and watching Halloweentown! What a great weekend!

DCFB was fortunate to have the amazing support of the Salt Creek Clover's 4H Club who purchased treats and filled 200 harvest goodie bags this year! What an outstanding group of kids who were willing to volunteer and help bring smiles to our DeWitt County farmers and elevators! Today, we spent some time over at Premier Cooperative in Farmer City! What a hopping place to be! Thank you again to the Salt Creek Clover's for your generosity and time! See you at an elevator near you!

After a successful Young Leader Tractor Drive we then ended our day at the Blue Ridge High School for our DeWitt County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting! Thank you to the amazing Clinton FFA Alumni for preparing our delicious meal and the Blue Ridge FFA for serving and sharing their impressive updates within their chapter. We also need to take a moment to thank our amazing AITC Coordinator, Pam Chambers for presenting to our members on what is going on within our beloved AITC Program! Thank you to all the members who joined our meeting! It was a fantastic evening and we are so grateful to have members like you!

This weekend, the DCFB Young Leaders held another fantastic Tractor Drive in Farmer City! Thank you to all the folks who spent your Saturday with the DCFB Young Leaders touring around DeWitt County helping to raise funds for our foundation! We look forward to another fun drive next year!

July has come and gone, but we ended on an awesome note with our 2025 DeWitt County Farm Bureau Foundation Golf Outing at the Clinton Country Club! This year was one for the books! We had 13 teams, surprisingly great weather, and a Hole In One winner with the First State Bank - Heyworth Branch! Huge Shoutout to Keith Wade-Country Financial for sponsoring this once in a life time opportunity for our players! Huge congratulations to the First State Bank crew!

Most importantly thank you to everyone who came together to make this event run so smoothly! Thank you to Ted Morris with the Clinton Country Club for all your hard work and organization that allowed us to run such a great event! Thank you to our DCFB board members helping with set up, registration, games, and clean up! We are blessed with the BEST board! Thank you to our epic Piatt-Dewitt Ag in the Classroom Coordinator Mrs. Pam Chambers and Summer Intern Davis Howell for all their hard work helping with registration and hole games on the course! Saving the best for last all our teacher volunteers spending one of their summer days with DCFB to help raise money so that their students can enjoy our AITC lessons in their classrooms!

What a fantastic round up! Enjoy the memories of another great golf outing! Until next year!
