Last year’s Fern Fund cohort featured brand for our Move The Crowd marketing and branding training was SheaMoisture, with the campaign theme: “Shea What Your Momma Gave You.” They absolutely understood the assignment. Throwback Thursday to a time we’re still very much in as educators.

The best educators are the ones who understand they are still students themselves. Sometimes showing up means slowing down. We ask students to focus, learn, and grow, but as educators we also have to continue finding better practices to support students where they are.

Growth is mutual. Always salute the learners and the teachers willing to keep learning.

15 years of impact. 15 years of finding a way.

The reality is these activations take nearly 25K to run annually, and while we’ve always made it happen, sustainable impact requires intentional support.

This work is bigger than one event. It’s year-round programming focused on intentionally changing lives.

No big cosigns. No secret sauce. Just consistent work, community, and people willing to invest in impact.

If you’ve ever been part of what we do, then you’ve already seen the value. Now we’re asking people to define what role they want to play — not just for this year, but for the next 5 years.

Intentional giving fuels intentional impact.
