Here's our latest newsletter. It provides a comprehensive update on our Tabernacle of the Desert church building project, which will begin, God willing, in April 2027. Please join us in praying for the remaining funding that is needed and that we will have an abundance of workers to build this church to God's glory!

We’ll be issuing a special edition newsletter Monday re our Tabernacle of the Desert church building project (first phase scheduled for April 2027). Two of our grandkids (Darrell and Tera Beard) have been visiting us this week while on their fall break. They love helping us stuff newsletters in envelopes and are a big help that makes the process go much more quickly.

It gives me great joy to see them engage so eagerly in hands-on ministry activity!

Watch for our newsletter!!

Here's our latest newsletter! I hope you enjoy it. You'll see that we now have dates for our church and house building mission trips in 2027. Let me know if you would like to participate!

We would be grateful for any contributions you can make to any part of our ministry. Most of all, please pray with us that we will be obedient and honor God in all we do!!

We’re home! 1270 miles over 4 days, hopefully blessing a lot of people. Brought back 5000 # of rice we will use to bless folks in coming months!!

Dara and I are on the road again this week. Just stopped for the night in Del Rio where we made a delivery this afternoon to Voice of Mexico Ministries of 6 barrels of freeze dried rice and beans that were donated to us.

Tomorrow we will drive to Brownsville where we will deliver 3000 # of rice and beans plus some other goodies to One Mission Ministries Thursday morning. They will use this food in their community kitchen in the Lagunas de Miralta slum area of Matamoros.

Friday we will come through Eagle Lake west of Houston where we will pick up 5000 # of rice for inventory for the next few months.

Thanks for supporting our effort. Please pray for safety and stamina during our journeys this week.

Blessings to you all!!

This feeding program is supported by Grace of Giving. We will be delivering 3000 # of rice and beans to Brownsville next week for OMM. We could use some financial help to cover food and fuel costs!

We loaded the Grace of Giving trailer with about 8,000 # this afternoon at 5:00 PM. My truck display said it was 105 degrees. I knew we needed some extra folks to help load because several of our “regulars” were unavailable.

So God, as only He can do, sent 8 people (plus my great-grandson) to make sure we could load without the heat overwhelming us!! This is the largest crew we’ve ever had for loading, including a friend we’ve not seen for a while and two new “recruits” from our little church, Cedar Shores Baptist Church.

I am now sitting in the cool of my living room being thankful for God’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness!! Praise His Holy Name!!

One of our supporters has the wonderful gift of encouragement. Whenever he sends a gift to Grace of Giving, he always includes an encouraging note. Here's what we received this morning:

"I hope this encourages you Greg."

"I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the Lord." Psalm 27:13-14

Just what I needed today!!
