Fireworks and Pets.....

In my opinion there are just so many illegal fireworks being lit off this year. The last couple of weeks have been terrible. So many pets, dogs and cats have been frightened. I've seen it firsthand.

Please folks be extra careful as we lead up to the 4th of July. For some reason I just don't think it's going to end and you never know when fireworks are going to go off near your home.

The other night at the station it was crazy. Fireworks everywhere and most were very loud and this went on for hours.

To keep everyone safe and healthy, Greyhound Rescue of New York has decided to temporarily suspend all clinics between now and the end of April, unless the State of New York deems it safe to resume ‘normal business’. If you are interested in adopting one of our sweet greyhounds, please contact the foster parent directly (via email), and arrangements will be made for you to meet the greyhound.
