Monday 15th –
6:30pm. Morse Code Practice Session at the CARC Clubhouse. This activity specializes in the learning and advancement of Morse Code procedures. Attendees need to know all the characters. Question or information email Gary Stephan at [email protected]

8pm, Bradley County Emergency Services Net. 146.925 - T114.8

9:10pm, 10 Meter Groundwave Net. 28.375Mhz

Tuesday 16th -
6pm, CARC Radio Night. Come practice, get on the radio, ask questions or just come and meet up with other Ham friends at the clubhouse.

Thursday 18th -
NO ACS MEETING this month

8:30pm, Cleveland Amateur Radio Clubs Star net. Check In with Rag Chew and Shop Swap. The Southeast Tennessee Amateur Radio net. The longest running VHF net in the tri-state area. The STAR net begins at 8:30 PM on the 147.180 repeater (+ offset, 118.8 Hz PL Tone)

DO NOT FORGET! Paul Baker will be leading the End Fed Half Wave antenna build night coming up July 28th. Get signed up so we can have your parts ready for you to build. The cost is $35.00. This includes all the parts and hardware required. The antenna will be ready to deploy upon completion. The attached presentation is a summary of the performance slides that Paul presented at the club meeting on 5/12/2026.

Don't forget VE Testing this Saturday the 9th at 10am. If you or someone you know wants to get their license or upgrade their license let them know about testing this Saturday at the clubhouse. Please arrive early so the required paperwork can be completed in a timely manner prior to the start of testing. A copy of your FRN #, license or CSCE, a photo ID, and $15 cash is required.

Join to participate in the nets weekly topic and stay for "Shop Swap". The nets time to promote radio stuff you have to sell.

Reminder, 2026 Field Day is coming up on June 27th and 28th. If you've never attended a field day you must attend! It's a lot of fun and a wonderful learning experience for all amateur operators. Contact Rex Smith ([email protected]) to join in the fun and help CARC be #1! Rumor is food will be included.
