The Northern Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (NOBIDA) is an all-volunteer board, non-profit organization with a mission to offer hope, education, and the opportunity for personal success to people with dyslexia and those who interact with them in northern Ohio. The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, scientific, and educational organization dedicated to the study and treatment of dyslexia.

🎓 Scholarship Opportunity: Attend the 38th Annual Dyslexia Symposium!

NOBIDA is offering the Jean Armus Scholarship to help make this year’s symposium more accessible to those who may not have financial support from an employer or school district.

The scholarship covers 80% of the symposium registration fee for the 38th Annual Dyslexia Symposium on November 2, 2026.

Educators, parents, individuals with dyslexia, and college education students are encouraged to apply!

📅 Application Deadline: September 14, 2026

Scholarship recipients are encouraged to bring what they learn back to their schools and communities to help spread awareness and understanding of dyslexia.
