Cleveland residents can claim a free native shrub or tree to plant at home—available first-come, first-served with no reservations needed. A selection of 100 native shrubs and small trees will be available, including Bayberry, Bitternut Hickory, Cottonwood, Yellow Buckeye, and more.

Plant a tree, support local wildlife, and help make our neighborhoods greener. 🌱

🌷 Time to come out of hibernation, Tremont! Walkabout is BACK in just ONE WEEK! 🌷

Join us Friday, May 8th, for our annual Spring Fling Walkabout Tremont, where the neighborhood comes alive with art, shopping, food, music, local vendors, and all the energy of the season. Walkabout Tremont officially returns the second Friday of the month from May through October, bringing Cleveland’s favorite walkable night out back to Professor Avenue and surrounding streets.

What to Expect at Walkabout Tremont - “Fashion & Folk Night” 👘🪡🧵

For the FINAL outdoor Walkabout Tremont of the season, you will find 40+ guest vendors, artists, craftspeople, bakers & makers set up along the sidewalk of Tremont’s Professor Street!

Additionally, for the first time ever, Tremont West is hosting a pop-up Museum featuring garments and textiles from diverse cultures and periods of time, in collaboration with the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Education Art Collection and the Hellenic Preservation Society of Northeast Ohio!

Also, come and see Dr.U.R. Awesome perform on Professor Avenue! Holding the Guinness Book Record for the largest bubble, this performance is something you won’t want to miss. This Friday, you will also get to experience Cleveland Kiltie Band (bagpipers), who will be roaming the neighborhood in the evening!

Catch the Pop-Up Museum at Walkabout Tremont on Friday, August 8 from 6:00-8:00 PM at 2406 Professor Ave.

Co-organized by Luke Hester of Case Western Reserve University and Rebekah Utian of Tremont West Development Center, this Pop-Up Museum was made possible through the generous time and collaboration of the exhibiting partners. Additional local producers will be showing how these traditions have continued from past through present, including Time Change Generator and other Cleveland-based clothing makers.
