Dear Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation golfers and supporters. Please accept our apologies for not reaching out to you sooner. Recently, the EMMF Board convened at the request of the Miller family to discuss the 2025 Golf Outing and the future of the Foundation.
After thoughtful consideration, and at the Miller family's request, we have decided to conclude the Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation as well as the annual Golf Outing.
Over the past 11 years, the Foundation has made remarkable strides in promoting mental health awareness and su***de prevention. None of this would have been possible without your unwavering support, prayers, and generosity. We are deeply grateful, and words cannot fully express our heartfelt appreciation.
We are immensely proud of your support through the years, and it is a testament to the power of community and compassion in helping those affected by mental health challenges. Because of your dedication and support the EMMF will have donated $200,000 to our partners at Life Act, Project Drew, American Foundation for Su***de Prevention, and Cornerstone of Hope. That is amazing!!!
As we reflect on the journey of the Foundation, we are humbled by the impact made together as a community. Your commitment has impacted a considerable number of individuals and provided support to those experiencing challenging circumstances. While the Foundation's chapter is closing, the spirit of compassion and advocacy that you have championed will continue to inspire others for years to come.
Once again, we extend our sincerest thanks for everything you have done. Although it is time for us to step away, we hope you understand our decision.
With gratitude,
Ed, Jenny, Pat and Tina Miller, Matt Dykas, Alex Joyce, Kelly Kettren, Ralph Rosenberger Jr., Steve Rosenberger, Dan Stilphen
