We stand with every community whose voice is being silenced by design. 🕊️✊🏾✡️
Rekindle Fellowship has released an official statement on the Supreme Court's decision in Louisiana v. Callais — a ruling that erodes core protections of the Voting Rights Act and makes it harder to challenge maps drawn to dilute the voting power of minority communities.
These are protections that generations of Black Americans, alongside Jewish allies, fought and bled to secure.

"When any community's voice is silenced by design, the whole country is diminished."
We were built on two convictions: our differences should not divide us, and our communities are stronger together. Progress is never permanent — it must be defended, generation after generation, through trust, solidarity, and shared action.

We will keep faith with the foot soldiers of Selma, the Freedom Riders, the rabbis and reverends who linked arms — because none of us is free until all of us are free.

The flame keeps spreading. 🔥

We're thrilled to announce two new Rekindle Fellowship chapters — Chicago and Washington, D.C.!
Rekindle Chicago will be led by Debra Gittler (With Company), bringing Black–Jewish dialogue and fellowship to one of America's most vibrant cities — rooted in a deep tradition of community organizing, interfaith partnership, and civic leadership. Launching Fall 2026.

Rekindle D.C. will be led by Rabbi Shais Rishon and the Eidot CHeMDaT"A community — bringing that same spirit of connection and pluralistic dialogue to the nation's capital. Also launching Fall 2026.

Today, we pause.

Yom HaShoah is not just a day of remembrance—it is a call to carry memory forward with intention.

We honor the lives lost, the stories that must never be erased, and the responsibility we hold in how we choose to show up for one another.

At Rekindle, we believe remembrance is not passive.
It asks something of us.

To listen more deeply.
To confront hate, even when it’s uncomfortable.
To build relationships across difference with courage and care.

Because memory, when held with purpose, can shape a more just and human future.

Take a moment today to reflect. To learn. To engage in meaningful conversation.

That is how we carry it forward.

Listening isn’t passive—it’s leadership.
In a world where everyone is talking, real impact comes from those willing to listen with intention, curiosity, and respect.

That’s how stronger communities are built.
That’s how dialogue turns into action.
That’s how shared dreams become reality.

Join us on April 21 and experience what it looks like when listening leads.

Courageous conversations build stronger communities.

Dialogue isn’t always easy—but it is necessary.

This moment—captured in Boston—reflects what it looks like when people come together with openness, honesty, and a willingness to engage across difference.

At Rekindle, our fellows lead conversations that challenge assumptions, deepen understanding, and strengthen leadership from within.

Because real dialogue requires curiosity, humility, and courage—especially when it’s difficult.

💬 As you step into this week:
What’s one conversation you’ve been avoiding—but know matters?

Proud to share that Rekindle co-founder Matt Fieldman was featured in the Cleveland Jewish News following his panel appearance at the ADL's Never is Now summit in New York City.
Matt joined ADL Ohio River Valley Regional Director Kelly Fishman, Bishop Robert Stearns of Eagle Wings, and John Eaves of the United Negro College Fund for a conversation on what it looks like to build authentic allyship between Black and Jewish Americans — and why that work matters more than ever right now.
Good Deeds Day is April 12th. Stay tuned for how you can show up with us.

The strongest leaders don't just speak — they make space for real conversation.
Dialogue requires humility, curiosity, and presence. And when it's done well, it doesn't just build understanding — it builds trust that lasts.
At Rekindle Fellowship, this is the kind of leadership we're cultivating across every chapter. And on April 21, we're bringing that conviction to life with someone who has dedicated his life to it.

We're honored to welcome Rabbi Marc Schneier — author of Shared Dreams — for an evening of dialogue, connection, and collective vision. Rabbi Schneier's work has bridged communities across the country, and his message couldn't be more timely.
Join us for Shared Dreams, part of our ongoing webinar series — and come ready to listen, engage, and be moved.
