It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James "Jim" McCue, a proud and longtime member of IATSE Local 27. Jim worked as a stagehand for many years and remained a proud union member throughout his life.

Jim, 90, of Westlake, was a true storyteller and craftsman who lived a full life as a merchant mariner, carpenter, tavern owner, stagehand, and field inspector. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Rose Marie, and is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ladislas Catholic Church, 2345 Bassett Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
