With our upcoming closet sale just around the corner, we are looking for a group(s) who might need service hours to help us with tear down. The job would be especially great for a church small group, youth group, or sports team! It is a fantastic way to get your kiddos involved in the work that Hope4One does in the community, AND let them work those muscles for a good cause. The job will be from 1:30 to 2:30 on Saturday June 27th. (Only ONE HOUR of your time!! 😬) We will be bagging up all of the remaining sale items and loading them in a trailer, sweeping up, and resetting the room with tables and chairs. No group is too big or small to make an impact!

While the temps might be rising in our steamy, warm building, we are STILL serving families every day! This Wednesday we are looking for new or gently used baby towels. If you would like to donate any that your children no longer need or would like to purchase some for us, we are open Monday through Thursday from 10AM to 1PM for drop-offs. You can also make a donation and tag it with "towels" and we will get them ordered right away.

Hope4One serves foster, kinship, and adoptive families with tangible needs like clothing, shoes, toys, book, and equipment. Our foster closet is 100% run on community donations and everything is free for the families that we serve. We never cease to be amazed at the ways that this community "stands in the gap" with us!

🚨 Urgent Need: HVAC Replacement for Our Foster Closet 🚨
A few weeks ago, the HVAC unit serving our foster closet failed. After inspections and consultations with multiple HVAC companies, we've learned that a full replacement is necessary.
The estimated cost of replacement is $9,500.
Our foster closet exists to support foster children and foster families in our community, and we need your help to keep this space functioning well for those we serve.
There are three ways you can help:
1️⃣ If you own an HVAC company and would be interested in donating all or part of this project to a 501(c)(3) ministry, please reach out. Your contribution may qualify as a tax-deductible donation.
2️⃣ If you, your family, business, church, civic club, sports team, or organization would like to help financially sponsor this replacement, we would be incredibly grateful. Every gift, large or small, helps us move closer to our $9,500 goal.

Just a quick reminder about our upcoming Saturday hours this month on the 23rd! If you have foster/adoptive/kinship kiddos in your care that haven't yet received their spring/summer clothing from us, please send us a text or email with their info and we will get a bag ready this coming week so it will be ready for pickup on that date. You can also reach out if you have a foster teen who would rather pick out their own items and we can get them an appointment slot for that Saturday. If neither of those things apply to you but you have been waiting for a more convenient time to make a donation, this is your chance!!

How much money do you think your family might save by committing to eating PB&J one night this week for dinner? For some that might save $5.00, for other busy families who find themselves eating on the go, it could save $40.00 or MORE! Hope4One Ministries has over 3,000 followers on Facebook alone. If every one of our followers donated just $5.00 this week, we would raise over $15,000.00!! That is MONTHS worth of operating expenses for this little ministry. Let's start a movement this week! May is Foster Care Awareness Month. Maybe you have felt burdened by the state of foster care in Tennessee. Maybe you know a foster family in the trenches of sharing their home. Maybe the Lord has been nudging your heart to get involved but the problem feels too big for you to solve.

STOP RUNNING! You CAN do something that makes a difference. We ALL can!

Here at Hope4One Ministries, we know that not every family is called to open their home. Not every family can sign up to be a monthly financial donor. Not every family has children with hand-me-downs to pass along. Instead of thinking of all the ways we CAN'T help, let's all focus on just one small way that we CAN.

If you don't know where to start tackling this giant problem, send us a message. We would love to hang out and brainstorm with you!

REMINDER!!!! We are going to be open this Saturday from 9-12. You might be asking yourself who/what are these Saturdays for?
1.) If you have placed an order with us but not had a chance to pick up, it's for YOU. Stop in, give our volunteers your name, and they will find your order.
2.) If you have a foster or kinship teen in your home who would like to come shop our closet, it's for YOU. Just send us a DM or a text with your preferred appointment time on Saturday so that our volunteers will be ready for you.
3.) If you have been holding donations for us, waiting for the right time to drop off, it's for YOU. We are accepting all types of donations during this time. (especially car seats 😉😁)
