"Thank you so much for coming to our classroom...the kids remember the books after and point them out when we see references to them. The volunteers were wonderful with our students."

This week we wrapped up the 2025/26 Early Readers Program at Wade Park and Denison Schools, supported by PNC. The kindergarteners at Wade Park enjoyed their new book, Lola Plants a Garden, and had fun making their own garden-inspired craft.

This week we'll wrap up our third Early Readers Program at Wade Park School, supported by PNC . Our Associate Board originated this monthly program that brings them into two partner schools for storytime and a related activity with pre-K through 1st grade scholars. Students each get their own brand-new copy of that month's book to take home and keep.
