✨ What a wonderful way to kick off a new year ✨

We were honored to welcome Dr. Ennis, President of Delta State University, as our guest speaker. He shared exciting updates about the amazing progress taking place at Delta State, including much-needed facility renovations and improvements, as well as the many initiatives focused on strengthening student life and the university as a whole. We are so excited to see the continued growth and investment in our community’s university! 🎓

We were also thrilled to welcome Anna Williams to our Executive Board as our new Chaplain! We are so excited to have her serving alongside us this year. 🥰

To wrap up our meeting, we divided into our five departments to begin planning how we can best serve our community in the year ahead.

It was the perfect first meeting to start what we know will be another incredible year of service, fellowship, and making a difference in Cleveland. We have so many exciting plans in the works, and we can’t wait to share what’s ahead! 💪🥳

The education committee was happy to contribute to the Boys & Girls Club end of year celebration by volunteering and providing a banner and gift cards! We are so thankful for this crucial asset to our community!

💙🚒🚓 Serving Those Who Serve Us 🚓🚒💙

The Cleveland Women’s Club was honored to deliver hydration and snack buckets to our local first responders as a small token of appreciation for the dedication and service they provide to our community every day.

This year’s recipients included:
🚓 Cleveland Police Department
🚓 Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office
🚒 Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department
🚒 Bolivar County Volunteer Fire Department
🚑 Pafford EMS

Bottled water and buckets filled with sports drinks and individually wrapped snacks were delivered to help keep our first responders fueled during long shifts and emergency calls.

This project would not have been possible without the generosity of our members and community partners. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, shopped, assembled buckets, wrote thank-you cards, and helped with deliveries. This project truly was a team effort!

The Cleveland Women’s Club is collecting donations for our Summer Hydration & Appreciation Buckets. We’ve extended the donation deadline to Friday, July 10, so there’s still time to participate!

Our President and Vice President made some donation deliveries today! We love the partnerships we have made throughout the years and always glad when we are able to give back to them! Thank you to everyone who participated in our Pinwheel for Prevention fundraiser for Delta Children's Advocacy Center as well as our Mahjong event for Delta Arts Alliance!!!
