Dear Deconstructionist,

You say the God of the Bible has done nothing to stop war, poverty, disease, and racism. That you have been enlightened to discover that you are God and that God lives in everyone. There are a couple of problems here. Firstly if you're God, why did you need to discover who you are❓️ Secondly how come you never came through as my mom died of cancer❓️ Amazon delivery was far more reliable and knew my address, where were you?❓️ So if you're God then the blame rests solely on your shoulders.

It seems the God of the Bible has kept it real all the time in assessing the wretchedness of the human heart in a life lived without Him as to the reasons why racism, war, poverty, and disease exist

Folks are deconstructing from Christ turning to the universe, sage, chrystals, and ancestors- because Christ hasn't stopped world hunger, wars, racism, and poverty. But by this logic the universe, ancestors, chrystals, and sage has failed miserably.

Hey Christ did tell us that these dark realities would occur and increase as the end git closer. Perhaps He keeps it real far more than what most people want to admit.

A disconnect often becomes apparent in several key areas. While televangelists' programs may be broadcast in 30-minute time slots, a closer examination reveals that only about 20 minutes of actual preaching are typically aired. The demands of television necessitate concise, memorable content. This constraint makes it difficult to undertake the slow, meticulous work of carefully exegeting scripture. Additionally, the message frequently serves as a promotional tool for books, sermon series, conferences, and upcoming speaking engagements. In essence, viewers are often presented with what amounts to a spiritual infomercial. Similar to the cheesy real estate infomercials of the 1980s, these programs showcase carefully crafted images of rapid success and easy solutions, available only to those who follow a charismatic leader's methods and invest significant financial resources in their 'ministry'.

When most believers speak of their disdain for " mega churches " what they're really describing is TBN telechurches and TBN theological adjacent ministries.

Now let me say this I have been blessed through preaching and ministry aired on TBN. However as I have matured spiritually and grown in my knowledge of how to actually study the Word of God my discernment sharpened and I became more aware of the vast disconnect of what the Bible teaches from what high profile TBN televangelists preach.
