It’s the last but certainly not least day of Cleveland Film Commission’s “Ralphie Comes Home” weekend! 10am - 5pm the event is taking place at the Cleveland Public Auditorium. The Cleveland Christmas run is present & supporting the weekend of events for the 40th anniversary. We also are selling vintage race memorabilia & signing folks up for the Virtual Cleveland Christmas Run.

We are selling vintage race memorabilia, signing people up for the virtual Cleveland Christmas Run & celebrating all things “A Christmas Story” on this wonderful 40th anniversary! We are also looking for volunteers, volunteers get free admission. 🎅🏼

Al Roker of NBC's TODAY will serve as the moderator for the "A Christmas Story Behind the Camera" panel event. Fans of "A Christmas Story" will hear behind-the-scenes stories directly from the cast, including Peter Billingsley, who played "Ralphie." Come to Cleveland and experience the excitement! Several members of the cast are returning to Cleveland to celebrate the 40th anniversary of 'A Christmas Story' next month.

We are transitioning all the participants that registered for the 5K or 10K to the Virtual Run, and we will send your cool long sleeve quarter zip shirt, and awesome race medal to you.

We recognize that some of you may wish to forgo those items and we have created the process for you to receive a refund by simply locating your original confirmation email from RunSignUp and then go to the Manage Registration link. From there you can request a refund back to your credit card.

However, we are hoping that many of you decide to remain as Virtual Runners. To do so, you don't have to do anything, and we will ship your shirt and medal to you.

If you really want to participate in a live race, we've arranged the option for you to run one of nine Santa Runs which are offered by our timing company GCXC in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

When you Manage Registration, instead of electing a refund, you will be able to select one of the Santa Runs listed. It's a freebie to you, and our way of thanking you for sticking with us and being a Virtual Runner. We will be shipping our Virtual packets for delivery in December, in advance of Christmas.

The option to elect a refund or select a Santa Run will remain open for one week, until Sunday October 22 at Noon. After that, everyone that has not elected will be a Virtual runner.

All the Cleveland Film Commission events are still happening, and we will be in Cleveland that weekend to support their event. If you are coming to their event, we hope to see you.

The weekend of November 10th is still going to be an amazing weekend with the Cleveland Film Commission’s 40th anniversary of A Christmas Story and will have the biggest cast reunion ever! We encourage you to visit Cleveland and celebrate Ralphie Comes Home!

We have an important update regarding the upcoming Cleveland Christmas Run event.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to convert the race to virtual.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this change. If you have already registered for the race, please check your email for further instructions on how to participate in the virtual event or explore other options available to you.

While we understand this may come as a disappointment, we believe that the virtual race will still provide an incredible experience for participants. Here's why you should still join us:

🏃‍♂️ Flexibility: Participate at your own pace, in your preferred location, and at a time that suits you best. You have the freedom to complete the race on your terms.

💪 Personal Achievement: Challenge yourself, achieve your goals, and make a difference. Your participation in the virtual race will contribute to our cause and help us continue our mission.
