The OhioMeansJobs Cleveland | Cuyahoga County Center is closed in observance of Memorial Day. We’ll reopen Tuesday during our normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., to assist job seekers.

Earlier this week, Serena Jezior, Director of Strategic Initiatives, spoke at New Growth Innovation Network’s Cityscapes Summit in New Orleans for a session called Making AI Work for Community and Economic Development.

She was joined by panelists:
Ricardo Thomas from NJ based nonprofit Hopeworks Camden
Archie Stewart, City of Birmingham Government

Chanell Hasty from Accelerator for America moderated the panel. Together, they discussed how cities can use AI to advance inclusive economic growth through data practices, workforce development tools, and community-informed implementation. Serena shared about our work here in Cleveland with the implementation of Arena for Greater Cleveland Works.
