Last week, our OEO & ADA Manager Nancy Sidell attended Cuyahoga County Council’s presentation of the National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) proclamation. NDEAM is celebrated every October to recognize the contributions of workers with disabilities to the workforce. This year’s NDEAM theme is “Celebrating Value and Talent.” From ensuring physical and programmatic access for all to our partnerships in the community that support our job seekers with disabilities, Greater Cleveland Works is living this message every day.

The Fall 2026 cohort ofCleveland Metropolitan School District students participating in our Healthcare Career Pathways program with Cuyahoga Community College is officially underway! Students recently kicked off their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, taking an important step toward a career in healthcare.

But the learning doesn’t stop in the classroom! Greater Cleveland Works partners with healthcare employers to give these students the opportunity to experience healthcare careers firsthand and learn from professionals in the field — and complete 40 hours of hands-on, work-based learning in the process.

We’re excited to support these students as they learn, gain experience, earn credentials, and prepare for their futures in healthcare!
