Laugh, Learn & Grow went to the farm!

Last week, our LLG families spent the day exploring Stearns Homestead in Parma, getting up close with some four-legged and feathered friends along the way.

The kids had the chance to feed horses, ducks, turkeys, and llamas—and even pet some chickens and a bunny!

Experiences like these give children opportunities to explore their surroundings, practice new skills, build connections, and, of course, have a whole lot of fun.

We are saddened by the passing of our longtime friend and supporter, Norbert “Nobby” Lewandowski.

Nobby was a cherished friend of Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center, and we are grateful for the many years of connection, kindness, and support he shared with our organization and community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His friendship and legacy will be remembered fondly.

At Deaf Health Day, it looked like conversations about diabetes, hypertension and nutrition happening directly in ASL.

It looked like questions, connection and community.
And it looked like community members coming together to learn about their health in an environment designed with Deaf participants in mind. 💙
