Moberly Ward Youth Camp 2026 was held this week, with the youth and chaperones not only getting to raft the Ocoee River just after the area was hit with up to 7 inches of rain, but also taking time to do some community work at Tinsley Park Friday. The group traveled all the way from Missouri for the camp, and we appreciate what they did to help clean up the park.

Keep Cleveland & Bradley County Beautiful had the opportunity to visit many of the sites for the United Way of the Ocoee Region's Day of Action Friday, and saw some special people volunteering their time and energy helping in our community. We visited Walker Valley High School, Candy's Creek Elementary School, the City Fields community garden on Benton Pike, the Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland ReStore and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland and those were only five of the many sites where these volunteers worked. We always are in need of volunteers to help KCBCB in litter collection and beautification projects and would love to work with any of these groups -- industries, businesses, civic groups, etc. -- in the future. Great job UWOR and all the volunteers.
