October 16 is designated “National Feral Cat Day”, started by Alley Cat Allies to raise awareness about feral & community cats and to advocate for them! They have a rough life struggling to survive out there in all kinds of weather and facing all kinds of danger. You all know those cats have our hearts and we do everything we can to help them and protect them. We feed & water multiple colonies, we provide shelters at all our colonies, we TNR to prevent more kittens, we educate people about caring for stray/feral cats, we hold our annual winter cat shelter building workshop & we provide veterinary care when we can. We have even moved colonies when they were put in danger by unkind people. We know so many of you take really good care of your feral & stray cats and we are so grateful to all of you for all you do to help. They are so grateful to you too. Together, we ARE making a difference for stray/feral cats and we are all doing it every day! Thank you to all of you who are out there doing it!!!
