Before coming to Women of Hope, one of our residents was facing addiction, unstable housing, and some of the darkest moments of her life.

Today, she has a safe place to live, has completed an intensive outpatient treatment program, is receiving support for her mental health, and is working toward a brighter future.

This is what can happen when a woman is given more than a place to stay—she is given the stability and support she needs to begin again.

A day at the zoo may seem simple, but for the women of Women of Hope, moments like this are part of a bigger healing journey.

Recently, the Women to Women Life Group from New Community Bible Fellowship gathered with some of the ladies in the house for a special time of fellowship, food, and encouragement centered on God’s restoration.

Moments like these matter deeply at Women of Hope. Through honest conversation, shared life, and biblical truth, women are reminded that they are seen, loved, and not without hope. In God’s hands, even what feels broken can become beautiful again.

Transformation doesn’t always start with wings. Sometimes, it starts with learning to name what you feel.

Last month, through our Emotionally Healthy and Artful Creations workshops, the women explored their emotions and reflected on the butterfly’s journey — a reminder that change is often vulnerable before it’s visible.

What began as a simple activity became something deeper: transformation is possible.
