West Side Markers Figure Drawing Group We are a non-instructed figure drawing group, following a classic format of gestures and then longer poses with a live model.

We are in informal group that meets twice a month to draw or paint from the live model. All types of drawing and painting medium are welcome (but poses tend to be too short for painting in oil). We follow a traditional format similar to the Cleveland Institute of Art, starting with gestures, then going into longer poses, usually up to 30 minutes. The length of the poses is always announced with each meeting. We charge $10 per person per session for the model/gallery fee.
