United Adoration Our vision is to see the Church be the model of beauty, creativity, and artistry on the earth.

We partner with local churches to gather and inspire people to welcome God into their creative process and create in their own language, culture, and context. :: Sacred Space ::
We host retreats in cities around the world where the Holy Spirit is invited to release creativity and care for the soul of the artist.

:: Creative Community ::
We train local leaders to develop rhythms of ongoing artistic collaboration, encouragement, and unity among churches and movements.

:: Local & Global Mission ::
We inspire global Church leaders to encourage local churches to release new songs & creative art that mobilizes believers to impact their city.

Calling all songwriters, musicians, lyricists, and wordsmiths in Chattanooga and the surrounding area! United Adoration and Collegedale Seventh-Day Adventist Church is inviting you to a very special songwriting retreat with a focus on the theme of "rest" designed for you to create, collaborate, and build community with other creators.

Many of us shy away from being called a "creative" or an "artist" but we at United Adoration believe that all of God's people are creatives, and our retreats are for YOU! During the retreat, we will have extended time to create, collaborate with one another, pray together, reflect on scripture, share meals, and worship God in community.

We believe that when we gather to worship and create, the Holy Spirit does deep work in our souls, so we intentionally leave time during the retreat for the Holy Spirit to care for our souls.

Chicago Songwriting Retreat!

4 songwriters from 3 different churches came together to explore the theme of New Creation. We spent the day writing separately, and whenever we came back together, ideas were shared, and collaboration was invited. Some really cool pieces started to form, and we found rest in the creative space. Someone started a piece earlier in the week, before the retreat theme was shared, that lined up perfectly with what we were exploring, and the share time was powerful.

We are excited to welcome Rob Veith into his new role as our Area Director for Asia. Rob is an ethnodoxologist with decades of experience in global creative mission. His passion to see the indigenous release of Scripture-based creativity has led him to work in countries all around the world. Rob joined UA at the beginning of the year as an Artist Missionary. We are thrilled to see him take on this new role so we can better minister to creatives, care for & train leaders, and help to release more indigenous sights, sounds, and movements of worship across Asia.

We had our first Oxfordshire in-person songwriting day last Saturday. 10 songwriters from 10 different churches gathered to write, share songs, encourage and feedback on each other’s work to help strengthen the songs we write for our local churches.

We started with coffee and silver medal award winning cinnamon buns and had a beautiful day of connecting and supporting one another.

We wrote Psalm refrains to lead one another in worship, worked our own songs in free writing time and even had a couple of skills tracks, learning how to vary our chord selection and harmony.

It was a fantastic day of connecting with God, building community and exploring creativity.
