Since June 24, 1865, our volunteers have been helping neighbors in need. From food, clothing & warm blankets, to emergency utility & rent assistance, school supplies and more, our volunteers provide hope with compassionate face-to-face care, thanks to donations from people throughout Northeast, Ohio.💖

Thank you to St. Matthias the Apostle Church for donating toiletries and other items to our Brookside Hunger Center. These are items we don't often receive, but are needed in the community we serve.

Our Executive Director and longtime Vincentian, Jack Bedell, believes that, ”St. Vincent de Paul is unique in that we engage those we assist, face to face, in their homes/apartments to fully understand their needs, before delivering help.”

This is the mission of our founder, Frédéric Ozanam, and guides everything we do.

There is no single solution to preventing homelessness.

Every community faces different challenges, which is why our 62 local Conferences respond in different ways; some provide rental assistance, others help with utility bills, operate food pantries and more.

While our services may differ, our mission remains the same: helping neighbors in need find stability.
