The American Mutual Life Association is a fraternal benefit society formerly known as the Slovenian Mutual Benefit Association or its Slovenian equivalent, "Slovenska Dobrodelna Zveza." It was organized in 1910 by a group of Slovenian immigrants in Cleveland, Ohio, then as now the home of the largest concentration of Slovenians anywhere outside of the Republic of Slovenia. The AMLA is proud to have sponsored "JuJu's Dino Dash" back in April of this year which is put together by JuJu Myles Foundation. Fundraising from this event and other activities led to these scholarships distributed by the Foundation. It is great to see the full circle of community service and to be a part of it in a small way!!
