Cleveland MOTTEP was established in 1995 as a local affiliate of National MOTTEP. 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Organization focused solely on increasing awareness about organ donation and the number of registered donors in Greater Cleveland minority communities. The vision of Cleveland MOTTEP is to be a trusted source of information concerning minority organ and tissue donation and healthier lifestyles in Greater Cleveland.

Tiffani is the Founder and Executive Director of The Cutting Board Academy, where she educates children, families, and communities on food and nutrition. With over 16 years of experience in culinary arts, food science, and nutrition, she also serves as an adjunct professor at Cuyahoga Community College.

We’re proud to have her expertise and passion for community wellness supporting Cleveland MOTTEP’s mission! 🎉

October is Healthy Lung Month! 🧡💚

This month, we honor those waiting for the gift of a donor lung and the chance to take their next full breath. More than 900 adults and children in the U.S. are waiting for that gift.

🎉 360,000 Donor Registrations Have Come Through MyChart!

In the almost 18 months since Donate Life America and Epic connected MyChart to the National Donate Life Registry, more than 360,000 people have used MyChart to register their decision to be organ, eye and tissue donors. It’s now the leading national donor registration pathway in the country.

We join all those in the vision community across the globe in stressing the importance of eye care – everyone should !

As part of our shared mission to worldwide, we are working to make the gift of sight an accessible, available, and affordable reality for all. An estimated 12 million people around the world suffer from blindness that could be treated with a cornea transplant from a selfless donor. October is National Liver Awareness Month!

There are more than 9,000 adults and children in the U.S. currently waiting for a donor liver.

Did you know that the liver is the only organ that can regenerate itself? That’s what makes living liver donation possible. The donated portion of the liver fully regrows within 4 months and will ultimately regain full function. Incredible! 💙💚

So far in 2026, 853 Hispanic/Latino individuals have given the gift of life through living organ donation.

Hispanic/Latino individuals represent nearly 17% of all living organ donors this year. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate these living donors and the extraordinary impact of their generosity.
