Friends of M & I promotes the health and well being of families by providing essential items for mot

The MetroHealth Friends of Mothers & Infants (Friends of M & I) board consists of dedicated volunteers from the Greater Cleveland community, who share an interest in the health and well being of low-income families, specifically, clients receiving health care through the MetroHealth Center for Community Health. Many of our members are fully employed and others are retirees. All bring a wealth of k

nowledge and experience that has contributed to our board’s long-term success. Our current board includes social workers, a non-profit manager, a director of research, a public health secretary, a registered dietician, a police officer, a registered nurse, a public relations communications director, a bank assistant manager, a medical secretary and full time community volunteers.

Many thanks to these two 8th graders from St. Francis of Assisi for fulfilling their service hours by hosting a baby shower for us. With their help we were able to pack 10 baby bundles to be distributed!

Thank you to for the generous donation to help local mothers and infants in need! We received over 40 bags of baby wash, baby lotion, diaper rash ointment, and sunscreen. As well as facial wash and lotion for new Moms.
