Join us in honoring the departed by participating in our 3rd AMM Cemetery Clean Up Day 🤍

Let’s come together to beautify the resting places of our loved ones on Saturday, August 29th at 11:00am at Resthaven Memory Gardens. 🤲🏼

To join us as a volunteer, please scan the QR code or click the link in our bio and fill out the form. We ask that volunteers are ages 16+ and to be very caring, respectful, and representative of our Islamic manners during this initiative.

To those who join us, we want to remind you to keep your intentions to go to the graveyard for the sake of remembering that this life is temporary and always seek the forgiveness of Allah (SWT).

Visiting the graves was recommended by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)ﷺ as a means to remind oneself of the passing on from this world and onto the hereafter.
Anas narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)ﷺ said, “I forbade you to visit the graves then it appeared to me that they soften the heart, bring tears to the eyes, and remind one of the hereafter.” (Ahmad)

Abu Huraira, relates the Prophet’s words, “Visit graves, for it reminds one of his death.” (Sahih Muslim).

Alhamdulillah, the 2026 Mu’min Retreat has officially come to an end, and what a beautiful weekend it was! 🏕️💙

Our hearts are so full after a retreat full of laughter, unforgettable memories, meaningful reminders, new friendships, and so many moments we’ll cherish for years to come. From praying and learning together to watching strangers leave as family, every single moment spent striving for the sake of Allah was truly special. We will never take this community for granted. 🤍

None of this would have been possible except by the permission of Allah ﷻ, then through the support of every single person who played a part. Whether you attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, made duʿā for us, or simply lent a helping hand behind the scenes, jazākum Allahu khayran. May Allah ﷻ reward your efforts, place barakah in everything you do, and reunite us all in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen. 🤲🏼
