Cuyahoga County Executive, Complicit Chris Ronayne, is at it again! Rather than working to benefit the people of Cuyahoga County he chooses to use his office to support a proposed trade partnership with Israel. We want investment in our communities, not a genocide partnership!

Right now in Gaza, less than 4% of water is drinkable and more than 75% of people face starvation. Israel’s blockade of Gaza severely limits materials, food, and aid from entering, making it incredibly difficult to develop water and sanitation infrastructure. Food aid is still the only real way for people to eat in Gaza, and the risk of famine remains. Even in the greater Cleveland area, one out of every six of our neighbors isn’t sure where their next meal is going to come from.

So today, I am donating to the mutual aid campaign for Ashraf’s clean water program in Gaza and to the People’s Distro, and I encourage you to donate as well at the link in the bio.

THIS WEEK’S SELLOUT SPOTLIGHT FEATURE: THE MOST CORRUPT STATEHOUSE IN THE COUNTRY : the Ohio Statehouse.

While Ohioans are struggling to pay bills, and we are being dragged into an unnecessary war that is inflating our gas prices to unbearable levels, our statehouse senators are spending precious legislative time appeasing Israel lobbyists and furthering their own genocidal agendas.

This continued obsession with Israel should make every Ohioan incredibly afraid. Ohio politicians laud Israeli technology, but what they aren’t saying is that a huge chunk of that technology is surveillance and military technology tested on Palestinians that will be turned on U.S. civilians, just like facial recognition technologies from Israeli tech companies like Oosto (formerly AnyVision) and Corsight AI.

Ohio politicians need to stop simping, lusting over Israel’s violence, and focusing on the issues we need to be dealing with right here in Ohio.

We gathered in Lakewood Park on Wednesday in vigil for the martyrs of the U.S. and Israeli violent forever wars.

We remembered those stolen from their families, their homes, their futures. While the world goes numb, we chose connection and memory.

There is something sacred about gathering with people who refuse to look away. About speaking the names of the dead aloud and renewing our commitment to each other.

May we continue to build each other up. May we continue to remember. May we continue to fight for a world where no empire can decide whose life is disposable.

These are not just numbers. They are mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters, lives lost to senseless violence.
