Friends of the Locust Fork River Non profit organization, founded in 1991.

FLFR's mission is to preserve the free-flowing & natural wonder of the Locust Fork River and its tributaries by educating the community, promoting recreation, watchdogging polluters, and advocating for the River.

💢 KIDS' DAY ON THE RIVER MOVES TO JULY 18TH 💦

The river is too deep and swift this week for you to get in safely to kayak and swim. So Kids' Day on the River is moving to July 18th.
🐢🦉🪳🦋🦐🦎🏊🏽‍♀️🛶
The turtles, owls, hawks and river critters will be back at the river to welcome families for some hands-on science, river education and lots of FUN!

💢Everyone registered for June 13th remains registered for July 18th. 💢 If we have your registration and signed waiver, you will receive an email from [email protected] (check spam) asking you to confirm you can come on the new date. ✅
