Islam, To all Moorish Americans and Sympathizers, We pray all are well and safe.

TEMPLE NO.7 is holding a Raffle featuring a prize of $500.00 for the winning number when pulled. The Raffle is to Support the future of our Temple and Auxillaries.

We will hold the raffle on July 19, 2026 in the Cleveland Metroparks.
There is a $500.00 prize to the winner. Tickets are $5.00 each and abook of 5 for $20.00 donation.

This event, beginning at 10 am, will resume our Annual Moorish and Family gathering that we all have missed so much. We do invite all to attend at our new site, bring your food to cook if you want and enjoy the day. All Priases due to Allah and Honors to our Illustrious Prophet Noble Drew Ali.
**************PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT*********
Before Covid hit and we were mandated to close our Temple doors, Our Sunday School meetings in Cleveland, Ohio consisted of many young Moorish Americans (between the ages of 5 and 17 years) who were very active and participated in "acting positions" of Leadership training. They would open up the meetings (under the tutelage of our Temple #7 Officials and our Chairman) they covered the Sunday School Lessons, guided it, while helping one another with the Questions and answers with discussions from our Holy Koran.
This created an atmosphere of UNITY amongst the children, their parents and our members.
A few male members were MIT's and we had one become a Mufti later. We had a children's concession store where they worked together. All of this created enough finance from donations to assist the YPMNL and the youth becoming useful members of Society.
We held bake sales, one family created printings of Jokes for donations. There were many other activities they participated in to raise finance throughout the years of attending "THEIR MEETINGS" and Sunday School along with their parents as well.
This also made it possible for them to attend and participate in our 100th year ANNIVERSARY OF THE Founding of Our MOORISH SCIENCE TEMPLE OF AMERICA, INC..
Therefore; when looking at the above picture, note that all the children in front are members of Temple No. 7 in Cleveland, Ohio, proudly standing next to their Chairman who taught them, with their parents behind them!

Our Prophet left us Instructions to follow and we do our utmost to adhere to them. Unless we can comprehend that UNITY is not just the responsibility of one or two members, or just on the OFFICIALS SHOULDERS, it will not come into Fruition.
It is necessary for all of us stop trying to take the easy path to receive these teachings. We MUST take time to put the work in...

Moors! Happy Tag Day
The first Tag Day was celebrated in March, 1929. It was an affair started by the Sisters' Auxiliary of Temple #1. Along with the sale of Tags, a box was left in each Temple, where the Moors may drop money in it for one week, and this money was to make a gift to the Prophet Noble Drew Ali after returned from a tour that He was on during that time.
This day was started as a fund raising day, and in 1929 the tags were sold for 10 cents each.
In later days, some of the Moors celebrated in remembrance of the Moors who were driven out of, and lost their ruling power in Ireland.
But with these teachings we are taught to love instead of hate and that the loss of ruling power is only an illusion.
It is better to rule oneself, than to rule another. It is better to conquer your lower self that to conquer another.
We will never know the true and divine meaning of love until we understand that it is the only savior of the world.
