Moors! Happy Tag Day
The first Tag Day was celebrated in March, 1929. It was an affair started by the Sisters' Auxiliary of Temple #1. Along with the sale of Tags, a box was left in each Temple, where the Moors may drop money in it for one week, and this money was to make a gift to the Prophet Noble Drew Ali after returned from a tour that He was on during that time.
This day was started as a fund raising day, and in 1929 the tags were sold for 10 cents each.
In later days, some of the Moors celebrated in remembrance of the Moors who were driven out of, and lost their ruling power in Ireland.
But with these teachings we are taught to love instead of hate and that the loss of ruling power is only an illusion.
It is better to rule oneself, than to rule another. It is better to conquer your lower self that to conquer another.
We will never know the true and divine meaning of love until we understand that it is the only savior of the world.

To teach His people their Ancient and Divine Creed.
To show HIS people How to Love Instead of Hate.
To Learn of their Higher self and Lower self.
To uplift their Characters.

We are in the times that many thought would never be.
We are in the times that were Prophesied.
We are in the times that are difficult for many.
On Wednesday, Temple No. 7 asks that you take the time, if only for a few minutes, to send out affirmations of encouragement.
Either through your prayers, or just silent meditative thoughts for those who are bearing the weight of despair and uncertainty.
To let the world know that, "from Heaven alone art thou to hope for good".
Let us send positivity, heartfelt prayers, meditation of LOVE and HOPE to all.
