Project S.A.F.E At Project S.A.F.E. individuals are offered an on the spot HIV antibody test accompanied by pre and post test Client Centered Counseling.

Referrals for STD clinics, substance abuse treatment, etc. are available for those individuals who need them. Armed with OraQuick HIV-1 oral specimen collection devices,brochures and hundreds of latex condoms, Project S.A.F.E.'s indigenous Outreach Workers venture into high-risk areas,homeless shelters, and drug/alcohol rehabilitation centers and other places that the high-risk population can be l

ocated.We talk face to face about the importance of not sharing needles, ("works"), the proper technique to use a LATEX condom and other ways to prevent the spread of HIV are discussed.
