With a rich history dating back over 150 years, the CMBA was formed in 2008 through the unification of the Cleveland and Cuyahoga County Bar Associations, creating Ohio’s larg
est and most influential metro bar association. As the collective voice of the region’s bench and bar, the CMBA upholds the highest standards of legal excellence, ethics, and professionalism. Beyond serving our members, we are a force for good in the community. Supported by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation (CMBF), our nationally recognized programs include focuses on youth engagement, workforce development, access to justice, and support for nonprofit and artistic communities.
