That’s a wrap on another summer of learning, growth, and career exploration! 🎉
Through Y.O.U.’s internship program, part of our broader work experience programming, young people across Northeast Ohio spent their summers gaining real-world experience, building professional skills, and discovering what their futures could hold.
Our interns at University Circle Inc. spent weeks supporting marketing and community engagement work, creating social media content, conducting interviews, helping with Wade Oval Wednesdays, and collaborating on team projects. Through it all, they grew stronger in communication, teamwork, public speaking, budgeting, and networking.
Naomi shared that one of her favorite lessons was the importance of “the pivot”—staying curious, rolling with change, and finding a new way forward when plans shift. Best of all, the experience helped confirm her dream of building a career in finance and using it to make a real difference. 💼✨
